With over 12 years of experience teaching Dutch as a second language to people from many different backgrounds, teaching all levels of the Dutch language, you are in good hands! I have a passion for languages, but my biggest passion is to get people to speak Dutch and become more confident in doing so.
I am a native speaker and have trained as a secondary school teacher. While already working as a teacher, I got my official certification for teacher of Dutch as a second language in 2010.
I was teaching for several government organisations, when in 2011,
I decided it was time to found Linda Lucia Taaltrainingen. Since then I have enjoyed being able to apply my own method, teaching students directly, either one-on-one or in small groups.
Time flies when you are having fun, because in 2021 we celebrated the 10 year anniversary of Linda Lucia Taaltrainingen! It has been 10 years with many students and many experiences that have made me the teacher and person I am now.
Having my own company allowed me to focus on what was most important to me:
a personal approach,
small groups
and high quality lessons.
Gaining the confidence to speak can be challenging when you are learning a new language as an adult. I have gone through this myself, when I was learning Spanish.
This experience gave me even more insight in what students go through. With my method, I will be able to guide you through this process.
As an examinor of the official state exams, I can also help you with preparing for those.
